Bacon & Maple Syrup Puff Twists

Sticky maple syrup, salty streaky bacon and crunchy golden pastry. Sounds like a delicious bite!
- 1 sheet Pampas Puff Pastry, thawed
- 70g streaky bacon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- Preheat oven to 220˚C conventional or 200˚C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place roasting rack on top.
- Cut pastry into 10 strips. Cut bacon into 10 thin long strips. Arrange bacon on pastry and twist each strip 5-6 times, pinching ends to secure bacon. Place on rack and brush with maple syrup. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and puffed. Brush immediately with any remaining maple syrup. Stand for a 2-3 minutes before serving.
