Pampas Puff Pastry Tree with Nutella®

Made with our friends at Nutella®, this Puff Pastry Tree is a show-stopping crowd pleaser on Christmas Day!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of Pampas Puff Pastry
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 60g Nutella® for decorating
  • 1 tbsp cranberries, raspberries or pomegranate seeds (to serve)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. Lay out one sheet of Pampas Puff Pastry on a strip of baking paper. Cut a Christmas Tree shape into the sheet of puff pastry.
  3. Cut short branches into the tree, using the trunk as a guide. Twist the branches away from you.
  4. Mix the egg yolk and milk together and brush the tree with the mixture.
  5. Bake the pastry for 12-15 minutes, let it cool and decorate it with Nutella® using a piping bag or drizzle with a spoon. For an extra festive look, you can decorate your tree with cranberries, raspberries or pomegranate seeds.
